Google launches virtual touring feature for the first time in Qatar

Google has announced the launch of Google Street View in Qatar, making it the fifth country to receive a panoramic car for various city streets.

The new group offers the outer perimeter of four football stadiums; They are: Lucille Stadium, Al Bayt Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium and Educational City Stadium.

Google said that the virtual touring feature aims to improve the experience of visitors in Qatar and try to arrive at these stadiums, especially during the World Cup matches, and offers fans of the sport the opportunity to discover the stadiums from outside and the surrounding equipment.

Individuals around the world can view these images, by clicking on the Virtual Roaming feature in yellow on Google Maps.

The vehicle is equipped with a range of panoramic cameras (equivalent to 360 degrees), currently located in Qatar to capture panoramic images of more than 90 places in Qatar, where they will be added on Google Maps next year.
